  • Transport To Montréal
To go to Montréal from Marseille, the prices are about 275€-300€ but you have to go to Paris Orly so the travel may be long. These are the lowest price to go to Montréal at the end of August 2019.

If you want to go back in France in December 2019, the price will be higher because of the period. If you want a round trip, the prices will be about 876€ with British Airways.

Then when you will come back to France a the end of your studies. It will be around 250€ and it can be a direct flight with Air canada or Brussel Airlines.

Off course if you know your dates it will be less expensive if you book a round trip August-December and December-June. Because a Round trip is always less expensive. There are also a lot of little tips to have less expensive tickets and you can activate the notifications to know when the price is less expensive.

  • Transport in Montreal
In montreal you can have a Mensual pass for all the transport in montreal (bus, metro etc...) for 51$ with the student price and 85$ if you are not a student.

To drive a car in Canada you can use your French permit during 3 to 6 month then you have to change your permit in a Canadian Permit. But this is just if you want to become a permanent resident. In general in Quebec, if you are a student, you can use your French Permit during all the long of your stay.

You can have also an international permit which is a translation of your French permit in English but you have to show the two permits.

You can have more information about the driver’s license here :  https://www.jeparsaucanada.com/le-permis-de-conduire-au-canada/
